What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a marketing funnel? And why should every marketer use one?

It is a marketing strategy used to get prospective customers to buy products from you. It's a sales process in which visitors come to your website to find information that could help solve a problem. Through certain tools, however you will be able to learn to build a relationship and build confidence with every visitor.

This will allow you to better understand each visitor's needs. This in turn will push you to provide the best information to all your visitors. If you gain the trust of your visitors, they will be more likely to buy your products. The visitor then becomes a client.

At some point, many customers turn into very loyal clients who are ready to purchase just about every item that you promote on your site. A marketing funnel consists of all of the steps required to convert a regular user of your site to become a loyal client and buy every product that you sell.

This is the main goal for any internet marketer. This is possible with a well-designed funnel.

You've got the marketing tools to entice people's attention and bring them into your funnel. When they fill out the forms on your PERSONAL Lead Capture Page, they are able to enter your funnel. Because nobody is going to sign up on your company's lead capture page. I've said "personal". They would like to be a leader, not an organization.

The page for lead capture is where they enter the funnel. When they click the "Sign up Now" or "Enter here" buttons, they are able to access a whole new universe of marketing through networks.

They are getting ready for it, which is the most effective thing. It's their decision. They don't have anything to offer you other than yourself as a leader and mentor and as someone who will help them get more leads into their business.

This is how the typical marketing channel functions.

You can provide a free product to your "front-end" to attract and qualifie people interested in your offerings. You will need to register to receive the product (also known as opt-in) and then enter your email address as well as name. Then, they will be added to your email mailing list.

Now you have those people on your email list and can send other similar offers that they might be interested in.

Right after sign-up for the free offer they will be taken to a page that has a low-cost offer, also known as trip wire offers. At this point, they are moving to the "back end" of your funnel.

They will be taken to a similar offer with less cost when they buy the lower-cost offer (also called an upsell). If the buyer purchases the higher-priced offer, they'll be taken to the next related product with a higher price. This can go on for a long time.
